The Los Angeles Clippers are expected to get John Wall once he clears waivers. This is an incredible move... if it was done three seasons ago. Unfortunately, there are still Stephen Curry and the Warriors to worry about, along with other Western Conference teams like the Dallas Mavericks, Phoenix Suns, and Memphis Grizzlies.
There's also the decorated injury history that Paul George and Kawhi Leonard carry that's already hurting the Clippers. John Wall is no exception, with the former No. 1 pick doing damage to his knees, wrist, shoulder, and heel.
While getting the former Wizards star looks nice on paper, it won't do much to catapult Los Angeles to the top. Perhaps it's time for the Clippers to look at a rebuild?
