The Buffalo Bills are the top contender in the AFC. They have everything you'd want in a top team: a star quarterback, a solid receiver group, and a stud defense. It's no wonder many NFL pundits had them winning the Super Bowl this season. But what happens when you lose one of those pieces?
Josh Allen dealt with UCL problems after a 20-17 loss to the New York Jets. Fortunately for Bills fans, he's listed as day-to-day, which is limited to only missing Week Ten. However, could you imagine the trouble Buffalo would be in if the MVP frontrunner was gone?
Considering the AFC East doesn't have any lightweights, it'd be tough for the Bills to cope with this. Neither Case Keenum, nor Matt Barkley will carry this team to a Super Bowl, especially when Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are lurking.
Losing Josh Allen would be a devastating blow to the Bills season. All these off-season acquisitions (i.e. getting Von Miller) would go to waste for a promising team this season, leaving them to ponder about next year. Bills Mafia doesn't want that, considering they've never won the Super Bowl.
