Takeaways From Week Ten of the NFL Season

Should we be worried about a specific Super Bowl contender? Are we seeing the resurgence of another? Here's what went down in Week Ten of the NFL season.

  • Return of the Chiefs? It appears that the Kansas City Chiefs have found their groove. They demolished the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday night, 41-14. That was thanks to Patrick Mahomes going off, completing 35 of 50 passes for 406 yards and five touchdowns. With key players such as Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill contributing, it puts Kansas City back in first place in the AFC West. Remember, the Chiefs went 6-4 in 2019 before eventually going on a hot streak and winning the Super Bowl.

  • Hollywood Flop? The Los Angeles Rams looked extremely flat on Monday night, getting wrecked by San Francisco, 31-10. Matthew Stafford looked clueless, going 26-for-41 for 243 yards, a touchdown, and two picks (including a Jimmie Ward pick-six). Sean McVay might not have any answers against Kyle Shanahan, either; the Niners head coach has won five straight against him. There might be a bigger concern in Hollywood, though. Can this group of superstars mesh together before it's too late?

  • Don't Count Out the Patriots: Everyone thought the New England Patriots were done after Tom Brady left. However, that's not the case as the Pats are still in the playoff hunt at 6-4. They plowed through Cleveland, 45-7, putting up a defensive performance for the ages. In the past two games, New England has allowed 13 total points, making them an unstoppable force. Should we keep an eye on the Patriots in the playoff run?
