Lots of questions and the Empire State taking over football? Here's what went down as we chug along in the NFL season.
Empire State of Mind: Everyone knows about the Buffalo Bills and their success. After all, they're the prohibitive favorites to win the Super Bowl by sitting pretty at 5-1. However, you can't ignore the Big Apple's NFL success, either. The New York Giants pulled off an incredible comeback victory over the Baltimore Ravens, 24-20. The New York Jets pulled off a Lambeau-sized upset over Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers, 27-10. Everything's going well not just in the state of New York, but the city itself.
Circle the Wagons! Speaking of the Bills, they simply can't be stopped. They defeated the Kansas City Chiefs, 24-20, behind a late Dawson Knox touchdown catch from Josh Allen. The star quarterback and the Bills are giving Bills Mafia plenty of reasons to bodyslam the competition through tables. However, their next three games will be a challenge, consisting of the Packers, Jets, and Vikings. But there's another team that might be a tougher adversary...
Fly Eagles Fly! Can anyone stop the Philadelphia Eagles? They defeated the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night, 26-17. The Eagles secondary had three interceptions, with two of those coming from C.J. Gardner-Johnson. There's certainly good reason to believe the Eagles can run the table; their toughest games are road matchups against the Tennessee Titans, Cowboys, and Giants.
