BOWL SEASON IS UPON US! Celebrate the holidays by staying home and watching your favorite team take on an out-of-conference opponent. Whether it's in the Bahamas or Yankee Stadium, I'm excited to see what this year's installment offers. With that, here are my Top 5 favorite bowl games for this season.
Jimmy Kimmel LA Bowl: Never has there been a late-night host who's sponsored a college bowl game. However, that has happened with the Jimmy Kimmel Bowl. It couldn't have happened to a better person, too. Jimmy Kimmel is the funniest talk show host out there today. I'm just hoping to see Guillermo out on the sidelines.
Bahamas Bowl: What better way to escape the frigid cold than to take a trip to the Bahamas? Enjoy the sunny skies and the beautiful weather as you take in a football game. It's heavenly bliss for the college football fan looking to get away from the country for a bit.
Famous Idaho Potato Bowl: Albertson's Stadium has a unique characteristic to it. Its playing field is entirely blue, making for an interesting mechanism to this bowl game. Tune in just to see a blue field (Idaho potatoes not included).
Hawaii Bowl: Now, think of this. What better way to spend CHRISTMAS EVE than in the Aloha State? A college football tradition and staple, the Hawaii Bowl offers a getaway from the continental United States with a relaxing football game for two.
Rose Bowl: "The Granddaddy of Them All," as Brent Musberger would call it. There's nothing better than college football to kick off the new year in sunny California. A legendary contest between the Big Ten and Pac-12, it's a storied bowl game passed down from generation to generation.
