My Pick for NBA Champion is...

...Definitely not the Lakers. Have you seen how bad that team is? Anthony Davis can't stay healthy, LeBron James is fading into the background, and Russell Westbrook just sucks. If you're going with the Lakers as your pick, you're crazy.

Instead, you should go with a team like the Milwaukee Bucks. Why? Isn't it obvious? Greek Freak is on that team! Giannis Antetokounmpo is a scary presence inside and is as athletic as ever. You can't go wrong with the best NBA star in the league now.

But there's more. Gregg Popovich's disciple Mike Budenholzer is great at stretching the floor out. His game plan is creating opportunities and keeping opponents off balance. With reliable weapons such as Jrue Holiday and Brook Lopez, there's no problem with his strategy.

Finally, the NBA's Eastern Conference has always been the weaker conference. Whether it's undesirable locations (Indiana and Orlando), teams spiraling out of control (Brooklyn), or poorly run teams (Chicago and New York), the conference hasn't had much of a staying power. That's what makes Milwaukee the benefactor here: incredible drafts combined with a terrific coach have put this team in a prime position for years.

Who are they going to beat? Honestly, I have to go with Memphis. Ja Morant is becoming an unstoppable force, which is a scary thought. However, you can't go wrong with the Phoenix Suns or Golden State Warriors here. Everyone knows who Stephen Curry and Devin Booker are and what they do. Don't overlook these two teams for the NBA title, either.

Still, I love Milwaukee for the sheer fact they have Giannis Antetokounmpo. Greek Freak gives the Bucks a chance in every game they play for his versatility and athleticism. That's what makes Milwaukee the perfect pick to win the NBA title this season.
